The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sliva throws a nice looking combination but Cruz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sliva throws a head kick but Cruz moves out of range.
Cruz gets caught flat footed, as Sliva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Cruz keeping moving, preventing Sliva from controlling successfully.
Sliva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cruz is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sliva rolls with it to try and escape but Cruz cranks on the arm and Sliva is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
