PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rocket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Basileo Gallegos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gallegos has chosen Cryin' Like A Bitch!! as his entrance music. Johnny Rocket had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallegos shoots in but Rocket avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gallegos shoots in for a takedown but Rocket shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Gallegos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rocket did well to prevent Gallegos getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Gallegos has hold of Rocket's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rocket seems comfortable defending it but Gallegos has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rocket is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rocket is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gallegos couldn't care less - he's delighted!
