PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Con Waterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Glutamine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waterson comes to the cage accompanied by Oasis - Roll With It. Glutamine is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glutamine tries for a takedown but Waterson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Con Waterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Waterson connects with a single shot there.
Glutamine ducks right into an uppercut from Waterson.
Glutamine takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Waterson thuds his right hand into Glutamine's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Waterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Waterson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Con Waterson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Glutamine.

Waterson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Glutamine drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Glutamine shoots in for a double leg but Waterson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Glutamine is trying desperately to land a takedown but Waterson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Glutamine.
The fighters circle momentarily. Waterson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Glutamine closes the distance and clinches up with Waterson, looking for a takedown. Glutamine pushes Waterson against the cage but Waterson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Waterson cracks Glutamine with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Waterson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Glutamine's defenses. It connects perfectly with Glutamine's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
