Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Breznev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxxi Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Breznev comes to the cage accompanied by Mother Russia. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breznev fails with a takedown attempt.

Breznev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Moon wants to control but Breznev is keeping busy.

Breznev throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moon was covering up waiting for the punch and Breznev finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Breznev thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Moon if he has to take too many more of those.
Moon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Moon is rocked!

Breznev shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Moon is on queer street and Breznev is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
