Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Legion Arus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arus moves into range and clinches up with Angel.
Angel is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Arus is keeping busy.
Angel decides to pull guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Arus wants to stand and escape but instead Angel has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Arus wants to get back to his feet but Angel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Angel wants to stand but Arus is controlling his posture from full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Angel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Arus's waist but Arus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Angel off to one side.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Angel has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Arus's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Legion Arus dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Arus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Angel.

Angel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Legion Arus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Angel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Angel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Arus has managed to clinch.
Angel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Arus wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Angel's closed guard. He's half up but Angel has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Angel pivots and extends the arm, Arus falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Angel! Well done that man!
