The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lister misses with a wild body shot.
Dale throws a series of punches but Lister avoids them all with ease.
Dale lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Lister doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lister looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lister tried to score with a low kick but Dale checks it.
Dale moves away from the strike by Lister.
Lister tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dale swings for the body but Lister moves out of range.
Dale uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lister.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Dale.
That kick from Dale tenderised Lister's leg. Lister is trying to keep his angry face on.
Philip Dale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dale sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dale.
Dale moves out of range of the body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lister swings for the body but Dale moves out of range.
Lister takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lister shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Dale throws a head kick but Lister moves out of range.
Dale fails to land with a series of punches.
Lister throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Dale slips a straight right by Lister.
Lister shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dale sprawls well. Dale wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lister gets slowly back to his feet.

Dale cracks Lister with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Philip Dale is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lister fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dale avoids it really well and circles away.
Lister closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dale circles away.
Philip Dale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lime Lister.
Lister walks into a stiff left hand from Dale.
Lister pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dale throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dale, right into the meat.

Dale scores with a nice strike.
Dale lands with an uppercut that bounces Lister off the cage and back into range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lister does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dale is looking to slow Lister down with leg kicks.
Lister ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dale moves away.
Lister misses with a leg kick.
Dale scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dale moves out of range as Lister throws a body kick.
Lister misses with a head kick.
Lister bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dale's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dale tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lister was well out of range. Poor timing from Dale.
Lister takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lister moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lister doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lister tried to score with a low kick but Dale checks it.
Dale scores with the left hand. Lister knows he should have avoided that one.
Dale moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dale lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lister at a distance.
Lister avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lister has a takedown stuffed.
A solid body kick from Dale.
Dale with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lister is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dale is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lister.
Dale lands a big head kick that sends Lister to the canvas! Dale follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
