Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Azato Yasutsune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Langdon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Azato Yasutsune!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Langdon!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yasutsune is looking to slow Langdon down with leg kicks.
Langdon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yasutsune's waist but Yasutsune gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Langdon off to one side.
Yasutsune scoring well with a low kick there.
Yasutsune misses with a body kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Langdon is defended easily by Yasutsune.
Yasutsune slaps away a takedown attempt from Langdon, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Azato Yasutsune has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Langdon.
Langdon takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Langdon tries for a takedown but Yasutsune circles away easily
and Yasutsune counters with a thumping low kick.
Yasutsune lands with a thumping leg kick.
Yasutsune lands a front kick.
Yasutsune keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Langdon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Langdon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yasutsune works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Langdon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Yasutsune is controlling Langdon's posture.
Langdon throws a big right hand that misses.
Langdon wants to control from the top but Yasutsune keeps moving.
Yasutsune knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Langdon on the ground.
Yasutsune is trying to control the position but Langdon postures up.
Langdon lands a couple of elbows.
Yasutsune keeping moving, preventing Langdon from controlling successfully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Langdon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Yasutsune on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yasutsune tries to get out of the position.
Langdon distracts Yasutsune with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Yasutsune controls Langdon momentarily but Langdon frees himself.
Langdon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Yasutsune is trying to control the position but Langdon postures up.
Langdon lands a couple of decent looking shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yasutsune is trying to keep Langdon in close.

Langdonis looking to pass into half guard but Yasutsune pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Yasutsune is in guard.
Yasutsune is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Langdon has his hands on Yasutsune's head, controlling the position.
Yasutsune won't allow Langdon to sweep him here.

Langdon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yasutsune defends well.

Langdon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yasutsune doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yasutsune manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Langdon is trying to keep Yasutsune in close.
Yasutsune stands up out of Langdon's guard for a moment - Langdon manages to land a nice upkick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Langdon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Yasutsune defends it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Yasutsune passes Langdon's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Langdon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Yasutsune napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Langdon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yasutsune keeps working.
Langdon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Yasutsune down.
Langdon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Yasutsune tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Langdon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Langdon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yasutsune is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Yasutsune gets back to half guard.
Langdon is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Langdon is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Langdon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yasutsune swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Langdon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Langdon passes Yasutsune's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Yasutsune trying to hold on to Langdon's head to control him but Langdon postures up.
Langdon is trying to control the action in half guard but Yasutsune is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Langdon not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Yasutsune wants to control but Langdon is having none of it.

Langdon wants to control the pace but Yasutsune is squirming around nicely.

BOOM! Langdon connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Langdon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Yasutsune is squirming around, avoiding Langdon's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Langdon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Langdon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yasutsune avoids it really well and circles away.
Yasutsune throws a low kick, looking for Langdon's leg but Langdon calmly moves out of range.
Langdon shoots in but no luck this time.
Yasutsune staying out of range there.
Langdon misses with a takedown attempt - Yasutsune sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Azato Yasutsune has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Langdon.

Langdon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yasutsune sprawls well initially but Langdon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Yasutsune is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Langdon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Langdon's back!
Langdon rolls, trying to escape but Yasutsune keeps control of the position.
Langdon just trying to survive but Yasutsune is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Langdon tries to roll but Yasutsune sticks to his back.
Yasutsune is trying to stick to Langdon's back but Langdon is turning into Yasutsune. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Yasutsune's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Langdon.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Yasutsune is on top in guard.

Langdon is trying to control the position but Yasutsune postures up.
Langdon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yasutsune is one step ahead there.
Langdon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yasutsune's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Langdon passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Robert Langdon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Langdon cracks Yasutsune with a big right hand but Yasutsune just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Yasutsune holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Azato Yasutsune has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Yasutsune sneaks back into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Langdon stalling away here and it's allowed Yasutsune to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Langdon sitting in guard, not really doing much.

And that's the end of the fight!
Robert Langdon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Langdon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
