Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teuvo Hakkarainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakkarainen comes to the cage accompanied by Oodi kansanedustaja Hakkaraiselle. Dirk has chosen Wild Boy by Machine Gun Kelly as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakkarainen lands a leg kick that knocks Dirk off balance momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Dirk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oh Hakkarainen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hakkarainen moves out of range as Dirk strikes.
Dirk throws a lazy right hand but Hakkarainen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dirk throws an overhand right that lands on Hakkarainen's shoulder, as Hakkarainen tries to avoid the shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dirk throws a jab when Hakkarainen was well out of range.

Hakkarainen seems to have got his legs back now.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dirk crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hakkarainen - the referee stops the clock and Dirk gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hakkarainen. Dirk manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Hakkarainen feints and then cracks Dirk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dirk down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dirk closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hakkarainen to the mat! Hakkarainen manages to get full guard.

Dirk gets to his feet and stands over Hakkarainen, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hakkarainen felt that one! Dirk unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hakkarainen from any more punishment!
