Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Santhiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Malkowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva jabs at Malkowsky's body.
Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Malkowsky was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Silva throws a big elbow that misses.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Malkowsky can do anything to dispel that myth.
Silva passes Malkowsky's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Malkowsky looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Silva throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Malkowsky works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Malkowsky is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Malkowsky avoid being mounted?
Malkowsky might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Silva kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Malkowsky holds on and takes a little breather.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Will Malkowsky hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Malkowsky bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Malkowsky ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Malkowsky no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Malkowsky takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Santhiago Silva will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Malkowsky slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Malkowsky saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Malkowsky stands up over Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Malkowsky drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silva manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Malkowsky has Silva in his guard.

Silva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Silva shoots in and bounces Malkowsky off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Silva is in close to Malkowsky's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Silva throws a strike but Malkowsky rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Malkowsky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Malkowsky has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
