Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Neal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Kim!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neal shoots in and drives through. Kim sprawls well.
Kim keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Neal scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kim in his tracks.


It looks like Jack Kim has been cut.

Neal really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neal closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kim to the mat! Kim manages to get full guard.
Neal with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Neal works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Kim is looking to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kim is refusing to be controlled, as Neal sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kim tries to roll over but Neal keeps him under control.
Kim moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Neal landing with the ground and pound.

Kim is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Neal defends well.
Neal cracks Kim with a solid left hand.
Neal will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Neal content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Neal postures up and lands a big shot to Kim's brow.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Neal passes Kim's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Neal is nestled in close to Kim, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kim on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Kim is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neal prevents Kim from improving his position.
Neal takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Neal is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Neal lands strikes from half guard.
Neal seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Neal lands a nice short elbow.

Kim is rocked!
Neal is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Kim is hurt! He's hurt bad - Neal fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Kim from any more punishment! Congratulations to Neal! Great finish!
