Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jatinder Tiwana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunther Reza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jatinder Tiwana has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jatinder Tiwana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunther Reza!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiwana shoots for a double leg takedown but Reza sprawls well. He's pushed Tiwana's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tiwana misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Reza.
Tiwana tries to close the distance and clinch but Reza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tiwana throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tiwana fails with the takedown

and Reza counters with a takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Reza is putting a hurting on Tiwana here, landing some big shots from side control.
Tiwana is trying to get back to half guard.
Tiwana dodges the ground and pound from Reza.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Reza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tiwana keeps working.

Tiwana on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tiwana tries to get out of the position.

Reza lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tiwana down.
Reza happy to just control the position for now.

Reza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tiwana. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reza trying to control from half guard but Tiwana is working away.
Tiwana has his hands clasped together around Reza's back. He's all about the action.
Tiwana blocking the ground and pound attempt from Reza.
Reza landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reza throws a strike but Tiwana avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Reza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tiwana swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Reza is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Reza working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tiwana's head.
Reza looking to sit in guard and control but Tiwana gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Reza pulls Tiwana in close to prevent any damage.
Reza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Reza keeping moving, preventing Tiwana from controlling successfully.
Tiwana wants to get up but he can't break Reza's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jatinder Tiwana has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Tiwana moves into the clinch.
Tiwana is working for takedown but Reza is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jatinder Tiwana. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tiwana is breathing heavily.
Reza has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tiwana after a bit of a struggle.
Reza tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tiwana just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tiwana gets underhooks to prevent Reza's takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tiwana tries to break free but Reza pushes him back against the cage.
Reza goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tiwana prevents it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reza has Tiwana pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tiwana manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gunther Reza dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Reza shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Reza was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Reza tries to push Tiwana's head away but Tiwana is holding on tight.
Reza trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Reza lands a big elbow.

Tiwana wants to hold on but Reza pushes him away.
Reza scoring with strikes but Tiwana is staying in there.
Tiwana tries to lock up and control but Reza gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Tiwana gets back to half guard.
Tiwana is trying to stand.
Reza is looking to take a break and control but Tiwana is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reza thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tiwana's head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tiwana has a hand on Reza's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Reza takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Tiwana is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tiwana is in a horrible position here. Reza smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Reza lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reza prevents Tiwana from getting the reversal.
Reza can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tiwana is looking to escape.

The referee warns Tiwana that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Reza breaks from Tiwana's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Reza takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Reza fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Reza is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tiwana can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Reza tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Reza lands a nice shot to the head.
Reza working away from the top, dropping strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Reza goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tiwana turns into him and now he's in Reza's guard.
Reza throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gunther Reza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Tiwana tries to clinch but Reza is having none of it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tiwana looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Reza shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tiwana sprawls well. Tiwana wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Reza gets slowly back to his feet.
Reza displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tiwana.
Reza throws a solid leg kick but Tiwana takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Reza.
Tiwana dives in and grabs Reza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reza pushes down on Tiwana's head and hops out.
Reza avoids the body shot from Tiwana.
No joy there for Reza, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tiwana looks to land a combination but Reza avoids it well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Reza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reza sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Tiwana is working for a submission of some sort.
Reza tries to get to full guard but Tiwana has control of the leg.
Reza controlling the position well.

Reza wants to get back to full guard.
Reza is not content to let Tiwana control the position.
Tiwana tries to stand but can't do so whilst Reza controls his leg.
Reza is concentrating on defense, preventing Tiwana from advancing position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Reza wants to get back to full guard.
Jatinder Tiwana has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gunther Reza is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Reza is pressing down on Tiwana's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Gunther Reza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Reza winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
