PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chan Sung Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Lotion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jung kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Zombies. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jung scores with a jab.
Lotion shoots in looking for a takedown but Jung manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lotion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jung darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jung throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jung connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lotion momentarily.

Don Lotion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chan Sung Jung.

Lotion takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Lotion closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jung's guard.
Lotion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jung escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lotion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lotion drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lotion jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lotion accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jung is looking to sinch up a triangle. Lotion throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jung's body to avoid the submission. Jung has instead reached around Lotion's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jung arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
