The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paskiainen clinches up with Harper and pushes him back against the cage.

Paskiainen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Paskiainen wants to get back to his feet but Harper is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Harper trying to control the position from guard on top but Paskiainen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Harper misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Harper! Paskiainen is out on his feet! Harper rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Paskiainen is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Paskiainen is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
