Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman throws a good cross that connects.

Pollard shoots in looking for a takedown. Freeman tries to sprawl out of it but Pollard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Freeman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Freeman scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Freeman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Pollard is out of range.
Both fighters circling a little - Freeman finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Freeman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Pollard counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Freeman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Freeman throws a solid leg kick but Pollard takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Freeman.
Freeman fails to land with a series of punches.
A choreographed right hand from Freeman misses the target.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Freeman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Pollard tries to get to full guard but Freeman has control of the leg.

Pollard is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Freeman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Freeman's back!
Freeman defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Pollard's arms.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
