Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nalle Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny LaRusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karhu's entrance music is Phil Collins - Against All Odds. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying LaRusso's choice of entrance music: You're The Best!. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karhu fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Karhu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
LaRusso connects with an inside leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from LaRusso. Karhu does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Karhu counters with a two punch combo.
Karhu checks the leg kick nicely there.
LaRusso stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and LaRusso wants it to stay on the feet.

LaRusso chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Karhu can pounce on him.

LaRusso throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Nalle Karhu has been cut.

LaRusso fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
LaRusso tries a head kick but it misses.
Karhu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but LaRusso moves away.
LaRusso walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Karhu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Karhu just misses with a punch to the body.
Karhu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to LaRusso's calf.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Karhu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Good leg kick by LaRusso there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

LaRusso buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Karhu is breathing heavily.
Karhu dives in and grabs LaRusso's left leg, looking for a takedown. LaRusso pushes down on Karhu's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nalle Karhu. That's going to take a lot out of him.

LaRusso fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Karhu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from LaRusso. Karhu shrugs it off though.
Karhu is looking to wear down LaRusso with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
LaRusso fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Karhu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Karhu walks forward, straight into a front kick from LaRusso.
Johnny LaRusso is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
LaRusso lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A left lands for LaRusso.
Nalle Karhu's cut is getting worse.

LaRusso lands a big right hand that sends Karhu crashing to the mat! LaRusso stays standing though and waves Karhu back to his feet!

LaRusso throws a sloppy head kick and Karhu moves out of range easily.
Karhu gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nalle Karhu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

LaRusso lands a nice looking kick to the body. Karhu takes a step back to recover.

LaRusso is looking to chop away at Karhu's legs.
Karhu throws a low kick but LaRusso avoids it.
LaRusso throws a leg kick but Karhu checks it.
LaRusso defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Karhu.

LaRusso tries to land a front kick but Karhu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
LaRusso fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
LaRusso does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Karhu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Karhu shoots for a takedown but LaRusso saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
LaRusso throws a sloppy head kick and Karhu moves out of range easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by LaRusso.
Karhu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but LaRusso manages to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Nalle Karhu's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
LaRusso misses with a body kick.
LaRusso lands a big head kick that sends Karhu tumbling to the mat! LaRusso takes a step backwards and waves Karhu back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Karhu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LaRusso throws a head kick but Karhu moves out of range.
LaRusso goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Karhu seems to have got his legs back now.
Karhu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Karhu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? LaRusso is fending him off so far but Karhu persists. Nope, LaRusso circles away and we're back to standing.
The fighters circle, before LaRusso throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Karhu's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! LaRusso lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Johnny LaRusso!
After winning the bout, Johnny LaRusso thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
