The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severi closes the distance looking to clinch
and Pitt counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Severi is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Severi moves to clinch but Pitt breaks away
and Pitt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jab by Pitt.
Severi tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Pitt counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Pitt throws a head kick but Severi moves out of range.
Pitt circles away from the clinch attempt
and Pitt counters with a series of strikes. Severi will be more careful next time no doubt.

Severi misses with a lunging right hand
letting Pitt counter with a right hand.
A slow jab from Severi misses its intended target.
Gabz Severi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pitt slips a jab from Severi.
Severi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Severi tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Pitt counters with a nice body shot.
Pitt lunges at Severi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Severi's hand.
A low kick from Severi misses
and Pitt counters with a nice body shot.

Severi takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Pitt pushes Severi up against the cage in a clinch.

Pitt looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Severi is defending well. Pitt quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Severi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pitt celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
