The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance looking to clinch

and Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silva.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Silva stands up from Jones's guard - Silva perhaps looking for a knockout.

Silva kicks Jones off and gets to his feet.

Silva rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones jumps guard but Silva stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Silva gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Silva works his foot free and advances to mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jones has left one of his arms exposed and Silva doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Jones screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
