Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Holyfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holyfield has chosen RAWR as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Julius Lawson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Holyfield!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson misses with an uppercut. Holyfield saw that one coming.
Holyfield lands an overhand right.
It looks like Julius Lawson has been cut.
Lawson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lawson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Holyfield was well out of range. Poor timing from Lawson.
Holyfield lunges at Lawson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lawson's hand.
Lawson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holyfield ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Holyfield throws a series of punches but Lawson avoids them all with ease.
Holyfield scores with a nice strike.
Lawson misses with a wild body shot.
Holyfield throws a combination that misses
enabling Lawson to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Joe Holyfield has been cut.
Lawson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Holyfield doesn't seem bothered though.
Holyfield is looking to clinch but Lawson is avoiding it.
Lawson cracks a nice hook into Holyfield's ribs.
Holyfield looks gassed!
Holyfield takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lawson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Holyfield.
Lawson throws a lazy right hand but Holyfield sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Holyfield is aggressively charging in as Lawson backs up avoiding any damage. Lawson tosses out a jab and Holyfield runs right into it face first! Holyfield is out cold! Lawson dropped down on all fours and is barking in Holyfield's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Julius Lawson!
