The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herdy shoots in for a takedown but Long shows good takedown defense.
Herdy keeps the fight on the outside.
Long connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Herdy's hands.
Long moves in looking to clinch but Herdy pushes him off.
Herdy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Long sprawls well. Long wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Herdy gets slowly back to his feet.

Herdy works to advance to full mount. Long defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
