Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uhler shoots in looking for a takedown. Santos tries to sprawl out of it but Uhler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Santos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Uhler.
Santos tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Uhler shoots in for a double leg but Santos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Uhler misses with a series of wild punches.
Uhler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Santos counters with a head kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Uhler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Santos has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Matt Santos has been cut.
Santos displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Uhler.
Uhler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Santos is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Uhler's shoulder. That is not cool.

Santos decides to stand back up.
Santos slips a jab and a cross from Uhler.
Santos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Uhler misses with an uppercut

and Santos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Uhler wants to break free but Santos has control.
A shot in the inside from Santos.
Santos is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Uhler is breathing heavily.
Uhler takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Brad Uhler has been cut.

Uhler is fighting off a takedown attempt but Santos is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Uhler to the mat. Uhler regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Santos stands and steps away. Uhler gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Santos throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Uhler.
Uhler throws a left and a right that both miss
and Santos makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Uhler really felt that one!

Santos moves in looking to clinch but Uhler pushes him off.

Santos scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Uhler doesn't seem bothered though.

and Santos counters with a huge head kick that drops Uhler! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
