Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Bika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Venris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bika comes into the arena with My Decision blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bika misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Venris takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Solomon Venris has been cut.
Venris connects with a leg kick. Bika looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bika lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Venris at a distance.
Bika goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bika misses with a few strikes there.
Venris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bika lands a right hook to the body.
Bika smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Bika fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Venris manages to avoid it.

Bika jabs Venris to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Venris has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Venris there as he acknowledges the shot.
Venris moves in looking to clinch but Bika pushes him off.

Venris throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bika throws a shot from downtown. Venris moves away and avoids it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bika throws a lazy right hand but Venris sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bika lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Venris circles away quickly and effectively.

Venris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Venris throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bika has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Venris avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bika drops down looking for an ankle pick but Venris pulls his leg out and moves away.

Bika walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Venris checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Venris moves in looking to clinch but Bika pushes him off.
Venris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bika swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bika missing with a left hand there. Venris was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bika steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Venris. That one must have hurt.
Venris thows a leg kick but Bika checks it
and Bika counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bika throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bika crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Venris - the referee stops the clock and Bika gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Venris. Bika manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bika finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bika will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Bika is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Venris is keeping busy.

Bika changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Venris fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Venris closes the distance and clinches.
Bika trying to control the position but instead, Venris has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bika into the cage.
Bika lands a left hand that snaps the head of Venris backwards.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Solomon Venris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Bika pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bika takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Venris closes the distance but Bika moves to the side
and Bika counters with a big head kick but Venris shrugs it off.
Venris scores with a nice body kick.
Venris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bika swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bika keeps the fight on the outside.
Bika bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Venris's head backwards.

Bika feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bika content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Bika postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Venris covers up, he's hurt! Bika keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Bika and the ref steps in to end the fight! Bika can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Elvis Bika decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
