PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fenton Meeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Woo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnny Woo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Woo!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meeks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Meeks wants it to stay on the feet.
Woo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Meeks pinned against the cage. Meeks gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Meeks scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Meeks wants to clinch up but Woo keeps it at a distance.
Woo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Woo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Meeks thinking.
