Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Kjellstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Assis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Falling Slowly. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Assis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kjellstrom to the ground. Assis is now in Kjellstrom's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kjellstrom is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Assis defends well.

Kjellstrom has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Assis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kjellstrom has his foot on Assis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Assis works his way back into a safe position though.
Assis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kjellstrom has his feet on Assis's thighs here. He's pushed Assis off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Assis screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
