Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matthieu Saunier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saunier comes to the cage accompanied by Muse - Hysteria. Davidson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kids - Sleigh Kids kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson throws a hook but Saunier blocks it.

Saunier shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Saunier was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Davidson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Saunier will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Saunier has control of Davidson 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Davidson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Saunier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Saunier shoots in looking for a takedown. Davidson tries to sprawl out of it but Saunier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davidson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Saunier accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Saunier drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Saunier seems to have locked his on tight now - Davidson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Saunier, as he picks up the win!
