Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Royce Bosco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raheem Sterling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Royce Bosco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raheem Sterling!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosco tries to clinch there but Sterling circles away.
Bosco throws a big shot that misses.
Bosco throws a right hand that misses
and Sterling counters with a left and a right that stings Bosco.
Sterling doesn't manage to clinch there - Bosco circles away.
Bosco connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nice defenses there by Sterling.
Sterling is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bosco throws a lazy right hand but Sterling sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bosco scores with the left hand. Sterling knows he should have avoided that one.
Bosco circles away from the clinch attempt
and Bosco makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bosco is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bosco misses with a lunging right hand

and Sterling moves into the clinch.
Bosco tries to circle away but Sterling has him pinned against the cage.

Bosco tightens his grip and picks Sterling up, before dumping him to the ground. Sterling manages to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Sterling wants to stand and escape but Bosco is having none of it.

Bosco drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bosco jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bosco drops back looking for a leg! Sterling is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sterling manages to kick Bosco off! Bosco jumps back into Sterling's guard.

Bosco postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bosco drops back looking for a leg! Sterling is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sterling manages to kick Bosco off! Bosco jumps back into Sterling's guard.
Sterling is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bosco slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bosco tries to score with some ground and pound. Sterling controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Bosco swings around for an armbar but Sterling sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bosco's guard.
Bosco is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Bosco is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Bosco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bosco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We're going to have a standup here because Royce Bosco wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Sterling misses with a combination
and Bosco counters with a one-two to the body.
Bosco doesn't manage to clinch there - Sterling circles away.
Bosco pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sterling back to the cage. Bosco follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sterling has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bosco finds it's way round the side to connect with Sterling's head.
Sterling cracks a nice hook into Bosco's ribs.
Bosco lands a really nice looking cross but Sterling seems unphased.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bosco drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sterling pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bosco shoots for a double leg takedown but Sterling sprawls well. He's pushed Bosco's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Raheem Sterling is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bosco throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sterling's waist but Sterling gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bosco off to one side.
Royce Bosco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sterling tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sterling misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bosco lands a lovely overhand right.

Bosco throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sterling sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bosco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sterling circles away.
Raheem Sterling is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sterling closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Sterling wants to break free but Bosco has control.
Sterling tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Sterling misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bosco.
Bosco has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sterling is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bosco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Raheem Sterling will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Bosco shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sterling sprawls well. Sterling wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bosco gets slowly back to his feet.

Bosco shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sterling as he avoids it easily.

No joy there for Sterling, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sterling doesn't manage to clinch there - Bosco circles away.

Sterling manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Bosco wants to break the clinch but can't.

Sterling's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bosco blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sterling is stalling here.

Bosco is trying to force a seperation but Sterling has the dominant position.
Sterling keeps control of Bosco as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sterling has Bosco pressed against the cage.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Raheem Sterling.
Bosco thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sterling takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sterling throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Royce Bosco.
I think Bosco has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
