Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pero Uglic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Davies!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies stuffs the takedown.
An inside leg kick lands from Uglic.

Uglic shoots in and gets a takedown into Davies's guard.
Uglic is breathing heavily.
Uglic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Davies has Uglic pulled in close to control his posture.
Uglic prevents Davies from getting back to his feet.
Davies looking for a sweep. Not yet Davies, not yet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Davies bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Uglic's guard.

Davies is looking to work some ground and pound but Uglic has wrist control.

Davies content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Davies with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Davies trying to control the position from guard on top but Uglic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Uglic is working an open guard so Davies takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Davies punishes Uglic's body with a nice straight punch.
Davies scores with a jab.
Davies works the jab nicely.

Davies cracks Uglic with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A punch combination from Davies misses.
Davies lands a nice leg kick that just misses Uglic's sensitive parts.
Davies scores with a nice strike.
Davies connects with the punch.
Uglic takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Davies closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Davies sizes up Uglic with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Uglic is rocked!
Uglic walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Oh Uglic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davies catches Uglic with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Uglic forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

A determined Adam Davies didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
