and Martirez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Requiestas's guard.
Martirez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Martirez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Requiestas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Martirez is in Requiestas's guard.

Martirez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Requiestas.

Martirez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Requiestas but Requiestas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Requiestas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
