Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between H Y Kwon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kwon's entrance music is Wu Tang Clan - CREAM. A fine choice. H Y Kwon had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, H Y Kwon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tito Henry!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwon tries to clinch but Henry moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kwon. That's going to slow Henry down.
Kwon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Henry manages to avoid it.
Kwon wants to clinch.

Kwon drives through and clinches with Henry against the cage.
Kwon tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Henry avoids it.
Kwon misses with a body punch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Kwon.
Kwon misses with an elbow strike.
Kwon will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Henry up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kwon creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Henry's defenses.
Henry wants a takedown.
Kwon lands an elbow that stopped Henry in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Tito Henry has been cut.
Henry looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Kwon lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kwon throwing strikes but missing.
Kwon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henry swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Henry not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kwon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kwon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kwon throws an elbow that misses. Henry uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kwon's guard. Nice move by Henry!
Kwon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henry's guard.
Kwon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kwon passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Kwon tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Kwon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kwon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kwon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Henry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kwon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Henry, who protects the arm well.

Kwon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Henry is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Henry is looking to reverse the position.

Henry wants to get back to his feet but Kwon drags him back down.

Kwon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kwon working the ground and pound but Henry is defending the strikes.
Kwon in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Henry is trying to improve his position.

Kwon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Henry has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

H Y Kwon dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tito Henry's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


A slow jab from Henry misses its intended target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kwon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Henry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Henry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Henry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Henry scores with a jab.
Kwon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Henry connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kwon scrambles back to his feet.
Henry fails to land with a series of punches.
Kwon misses with a double jab.
Kwon feints and then cracks Henry's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Henry down.
Henry shoots in for a takedown but Kwon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Henry scores with a body shot.
Henry lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kwon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kwon avoids the body shot from Henry.

Kwon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Henry did well to prevent Kwon getting side control.

Kwon is working for a kimura but Henry is defending it quite comfortably.

Kwon is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kwon prevents Henry from standing back up.

Kwon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Henry doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kwon.

Kwon is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Henry to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Henry is controlling Kwon's posture.
Kwon won't allow Henry to get back to his feet.
Kwon with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kwon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kwon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kwon throws an elbow that misses. Henry uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kwon's guard. Nice move by Henry!

Kwon pushes a forearm under Henry's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Henry is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). H Y Kwon!
