The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Ricardo Da Souza has been cut.

Da Souza uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Uzi.
Da Souza lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Uzi throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Da Souza crashing down! Da Souza tries to stagger back to his feet but Uzi just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Da Souza asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyr Uzi!
A determined Tyr Uzi didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
