Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yung Bao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Doi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bao comes to the cage accompanied by Tenacious D - Rise of the Phoenix . Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Bao gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bao tries to kick Doi off but Doi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Bao is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Doi uses his free foot to push down on Bao's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bao.
Bao takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Bao is looking to improve his position but Doi isn't that keen on the idea.
Doi breaks from Bao's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Doi wants to finish this one by submission but Bao is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Doi.

Doi postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Bao bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Doi and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yoshi Doi!
After the fight, Yoshi Doi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
