The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williamson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Williamson looks to land a combination but Armstrong avoids it well.

Williamson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Williamson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

It looks like Andrew Armstrong has been cut.
Armstrong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williamson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Armstrong is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Williamson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Williamson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Armstrong is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Williamson yanks on the arm and Armstrong is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Williamson.
