Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bepo Kroner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar De La Riva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oscar De La Riva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kroner shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice takedown defense from De La Riva. No joy for Kroner on that attempt.
De La Riva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kroner shoots for a double leg takedown but De La Riva sprawls well. He's pushed Kroner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

De La Riva fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
De La Riva scores with a leg kick.
De La Riva wants to clinch up but Kroner keeps it at a distance.
Kroner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kroner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De La Riva tries to avoid it but Kroner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De La Riva to the ground. De La Riva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kroner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with De La Riva but De La Riva pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kroner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around De La Riva's waist but De La Riva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kroner off to one side.

Kroner swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and De La Riva is now in Kroner's guard. A big mistake from Kroner there, giving up the dominant position!

De La Riva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kroner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. De La Riva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. De La Riva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Kroner looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kroner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. De La Riva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kroner has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. De La Riva is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kroner.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kroner tries to get back to half guard but can't.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kroner manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

De La Riva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

De La Riva reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! De La Riva taps out! nice BJJ there by Kroner!
