The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caufield rushes Getsum and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Getsum has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Caufield uses from the top position.

Caufield uses his free foot to push down on Getsum's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Getsum.
Caufield lands a big elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee warns Getsum that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Getsum is looking to improve his position but Caufield isn't that keen on the idea.

After the fight, Holden Caufield was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
