The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skywalker does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Tank fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Good shot there by Skywalker.

It looks like Johnny Tank has been cut.
Skywalker scores with a jab. Tank acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tank looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Skywalker drops Tank with a nice combination! Skywalker dives into Tank's guard, looking to finish!

Tank is rocked!
Skywalker engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Skywalker seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tank for as long as he can get away with.
Tank manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Skywalker manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Skywalker pushes Tank off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Tank checks a leg kick.
Skywalker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Johnny Tank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Skywalker cracks Tank with an uppercut from hell and Tank crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Skywalker's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tank has eaten all the pies!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tank preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rousimar Palhares Skywalker wasn't doing enough on the ground.
A jab lands there for Skywalker.

That has opened up Johnny Tank's cut even more.
Tank looks to land a left hand but Skywalker moved out of range nicely.

Skywalker stuffs the takedown.
Skywalker feints with a jab and clips Tank right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Tank is sent crashing into the canvas and Skywalker leaps in for the kill! Tank tries to get to his feet but Skywalker is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Tank is in need of a savior and steps in!
