Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Old Greg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milton Howzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Old Greg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Milton Howzer!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howzer looks to land a left hand but Greg moved out of range nicely.
Howzer has a takedown stuffed.

Greg shoots in and bounces Howzer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Greg working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Howzer throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Howzer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Greg might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Howzer is trying to keep Greg in close.
Greg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Howzer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Greg postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Greg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Howzer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Greg is trying to work for a kimura but Howzer is defending well.
Howzer is looking to control Greg's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Howzer avoid being mounted?

Greg landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Greg looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Howzer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Howzer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Greg feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Greg looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Howzer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Greg, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
