Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paul closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Paul decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Johnson tries to bum rush Paul with a series of wild strikes but Paul uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Paul throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Paul wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Paul is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Paul has one foot on Johnson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Paul lands with a nice combination. Johnson backs away looking to recover.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

London Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson is breathing heavily.

Paul lands a brutal uppercut that launches Johnson off his feet! Johnson tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
