Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Luther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Kreedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luther's entrance music is Superheroes by Edguy. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kreedy's choice of entrance music: Can't Stop. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Luther!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Diesel Kreedy!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luther fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kreedy checks it well.
Kreedy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kreedy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Luther looks for the body kick but Kreedy saw that one coming.
Luther misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A left lands for Kreedy.
David Luther seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luther looks to land a left hand but Kreedy moved out of range nicely.
Luther takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kreedy looks for a takedown but Luther sprawls well.
Luther feints a jab promting Kreedy to slip. Luther then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kreedy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Diesel Kreedy has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Luther blocks a jab.
Kreedy slips a jab from Luther.
Luther chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kreedy can pounce on him.

Luther drops Kreedy with a beautiful combination! Kreedy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Luther is looking for the KO!


Kreedy is rocked!
That kick from Luther tenderised Kreedy's leg. Kreedy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kreedy is still on wobbly legs! Can Luther finish him?
Kreedy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kreedy avoids the head kick by Luther.
Kreedy seems to have recovered his senses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Luther. Kreedy does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kreedy thuds his shin into the meat of Luther's side.
Kreedy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kreedy lands a jab to the head.
Luther moves out of range of the body kick from Kreedy.
Kreedy wants to land a leg kick but Luther is out of range.
Luther fakes the leg kick and cracks Kreedy in the body.
Luther throws a head kick that misses.
Kreedy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Luther drives through and clinches with Kreedy against the cage.

Luther escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Luther fails to land with a series of punches.
Luther pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Luther jabs Kreedy right on the nose. Kreedy blinks but takes it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Luther misses with a hook. Kreedy ducked under it nicely.
Luther lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kreedy circles away quickly and effectively.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Kreedy.
Luther misses with a wild body shot.
Kreedy looks to land a body kick but Luther moved away.
Luther throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kreedy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Luther tries to clinch up.
Luther darts in trying to clinch
and Kreedy counters with a low kick, right behind Luther 's knee.
Kreedy takes a kick to the side of the head.
Luther fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kreedy manages to avoid it.
Luther throws a head kick that misses.

Kreedy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Luther!
Kreedy trying to control but Luther is having none of it.

Kreedy throwing strikes but Luther bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kreedy has his hands on Luther's head, controlling the position.
Luther is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Diesel Kreedy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kreedy staying out of range there.
Kreedy is looking to score with low kicks.
Luther avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kreedy throws a right and a left that Luther avoids nicely.
Luther throws an overhand right that lands on Kreedy's shoulder, as Kreedy tries to avoid the shot.
Luther lands with a nice body punch.
Luther tries to land a front kick but Kreedy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kreedy looks to score with a jab to the body but Luther is just out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Luther takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kreedy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Luther.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kreedy misses with a double jab.
Kreedy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Luther dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Kreedy takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Luther avoids a kick to the body.
Luther looks to land a body kick but Kreedy moved away.

Luther throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

David Luther is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Luther lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Luther is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kreedy can do to turn this around?

Kreedy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Luther digs a good body shot into Kreedy's ribs.

Luther thows a body shot but no joy.

Luther cracks Kreedy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kreedy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Luther finish him?

Kreedy slips a straight right by Luther.
Crunch! Luther slams his shin into Kreedy's torso.

Luther gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Luther lands an elbow inside that Kreedy shrugs off.
Luther pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Luther manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Luther misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Luther's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Luther throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kreedys head.

Luther breaks from the clinch.
Luther lands a front kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Luther misses with a wild body shot.
Luther moves out of range of the body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Luther, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Luther fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kreedy misses with a looping right.
Luther connects with a nice looking jab.
Luther thows a left - swing and a miss!
Luther scores with a head kick. Kreedy tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kreedy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Luther misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Luther throws a head kick that misses.
Kreedy avoids the head kick by Luther.
Luther throws a lazy right hand but Kreedy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kreedy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kreedy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kreedy throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Luther blocking the ground and pound.
Kreedy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Luther looks a forlorn figure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luther slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kreedy in particular looking to stall.
Kreedy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Luther defending well though.
Kreedy is pressing down on Luther's thigh, looking to free his foot. Luther is holding on for now.

Luther regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kreedy.
Luther looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kreedy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kreedy is looking to work some ground and pound but Luther has wrist control.
Kreedy postures up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Luther keeping moving, preventing Kreedy from controlling successfully.

That's time! Luther's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Luther moves out of range as Kreedy throws a body kick.
Kreedy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Luther lands with a slapping head kick.
Luther misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Luther swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Luther fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kreedy thumps Luther with a low kick.
Kreedy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Luther's waist but Luther gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kreedy off to one side.
Kreedy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Luther moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice body kick there by Luther.
Luther scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kreedy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A head kick misses from Luther.
Kreedy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Kreedy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kreedy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kreedy has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Luther.

Luther lands a big head kick that sends Kreedy tumbling to the mat! Luther takes a step backwards and waves Kreedy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Look low, kick high! Luther uses the oldest trick in the book to send Kreedy tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Luther is absolutely delighted - when Kreedy wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
