PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raw Whore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Whore holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Whore is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Silva has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Whore after a bit of a struggle.
Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Silva fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Raw Whore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Silva.
Whore gets underhooks to prevent Silva's takedown attempt.
Silva is trying to force a seperation but Whore has the dominant position.
Silva tries to land knees in the clinch but Whore avoids the damage to the body.
Silva is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Whore has him pressed against the cage.

Silva throws an elbow but it misses.

Silva turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Whore looks to move to half guard but instead Silva has passed into mount! Damn!
Whore is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Whore is squirming around, avoiding Silva's attempts to control the action.
Silva has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Whore's face.

It looks like Raw Whore has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Whore has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva cracks Whore with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Whore keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Whore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Whore can't escape the position.
Silva controlling from the full mount.
Whore is trying to stand up.
Silva breaks from Whore's wrist control and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Whore is rocked!

Raw Whore's cut is getting worse.
Whore tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Oh Whore is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The referee warns Whore that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Whore is breathing heavily.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Silva! Whore is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Alexander Silva!
