Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akuma The Raging Demon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akuma The Raging Demon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Raging Demon misses with a double jab

and Henderson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The Raging Demon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The Raging Demon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Henderson eats them both and turns towards The Raging Demon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Don Henderson has been cut.

Horrible takedown by Henderson or perhaps it was just good defense by The Raging Demon which made him look bad.

The Raging Demon dives in looking to finish as Henderson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block The Raging Demon's strikes! The Raging Demon is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Henderson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Henderson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
