Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iam Getcha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Master might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scars. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Getcha looks for a takedown but Master sprawls well.
Getcha tries to clinch
letting Master counter with a right hand.
Master leaves Getcha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Getcha throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Master counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Getcha doesn't manage to clinch there - Master circles away.
Master cracks Getcha with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Master punishes Getcha's body with a nice straight punch.

Master takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Master is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Getcha's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Master connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Getcha scrambles back to his feet.

Master fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Getcha looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Master lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Master.

Getcha seems to have recovered his senses.
Master thuds his right hand into Getcha's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Getcha takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Master lands a really nice looking cross but Getcha seems unphased.

Master lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Getcha shoots for a double leg takedown but Master sprawls well. He's pushed Getcha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ray Master has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iam Getcha.

No joy there for Getcha, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Getcha walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Getcha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Master, pushing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
