The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Monster.
Silakka wants to clinch up but Monster keeps it at a distance.
Monster connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Silakka momentarily.
Silakka moves into the clinch.
Monster has Silakka pressed against the cage, preventing Silakka from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Monster slows down the pace here.
Silakka wants to stall.
Silakka is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Monster pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Monster wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Silakka has him pressed against the cage.
Silakka fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Silakka doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Silakka blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Silakka wants to take the fight to the mat but Monster manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Monster is trying to stall.
Silakka's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silakka misses with the head strike.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Monster fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Monster is trying to stall.
Monster lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Silakka backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Monster creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Silakka cracks Monster with a nice body shot.
Silakka tries to throw a body punch but Monster avoids it by throwing Silakka back against the cage.
Monster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A shot to the liver by Monster. Beautiful body shot.
Monster lands with a right hand.
Silakka is rocked!
and Monster counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Silakka! He's just covering up as Monster starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
