Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between C G Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nolan Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: War - The Sick Puppies. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, C G Stark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nolan Martin!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Martin with that takedown attempt.
Martin misses with a wild combination.
Nolan Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stark fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Martin manages to avoid it.
Martin lands with a right hand.
Stark misses with a low kick.

Stark seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Martin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Martin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Stark is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Martin.

and Stark counters with a shoot takedown. Martin fights it but they end up in guard.

Martin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stark defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stark controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Martin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stark defends it easily.
Martin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stark controls the pace.

Martin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stark can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

C G Stark overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stark feints and as Martin raises his hands in defense, Stark changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Stark is looking to take a break and control but Martin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Martin is looking for a sweep. Stark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Stark with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up because C G Stark just wasn't active enough.
Stark shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Martin shoots in looking for a takedown. Stark tries to sprawl out of it but Martin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stark darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Nolan Martin.
I've got Martin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
