The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin moves in looking to clinch but Vasa pushes him off.

Griffin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Griffin wants it to stay on the feet.

Stewie Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vasa. Vasa obviously looking to wear him down.

Griffin scores with a jab. Vasa acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Griffin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vasa. That did some damage!

Vasa seems to have recovered his senses.
Griffin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Griffin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Griffin dips a shoulder and cracks Vasa with a mighty uppercut! Vasa falls back against the cage and Griffin unloads with a barrage of strikes! Vasa is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Griffin screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

After the fight, Stewie Griffin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
