The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connors stuns Zarsatina with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Zarsatina pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Connors shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zarsatina as he avoids it easily.
Connors fails in his attempt to clinch.
Connors throws a one two combo.

It looks like Duke Zarsatina has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Craig Connors seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Connors shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zarsatina defends it nicely.

Connors stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Zarsatina.

Connors tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Duke Zarsatina is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Connors chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zarsatina can pounce on him.
Zarsatina missing with a left hand there. Connors was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Zarsatina swats away the attempt to clinch by Connors.

Zarsatina throws a powerful right kick. Connors tried to block low but the kick was high! Connors was taken right off of his feet! Zarsatina jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
