Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luther Heggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghoul Ghotha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghotha missing with a left hand there. Heggs was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nice takedown defense from Heggs. No joy for Ghotha on that attempt.
Ghotha changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Heggs tries to avoid it but Ghotha manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Heggs to the ground. Heggs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

enabling Heggs to counter with a crisp jab.
Luther Heggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ghoul Ghotha.
Heggs moves in looking to clinch but Ghotha pushes him off.

Heggs makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Ghotha has Heggs pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Heggs manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Heggs lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Heggs jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Heggs lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ghotha will feel that in the morning.

Heggs tries to clinch there but Ghotha circles away.

Heggs throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ghothas head.
Ghotha tries for a takedown. No joy.
Heggs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ghotha fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Heggs cracks Ghotha with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Heggs fails in his attempt to clinch.
Heggs lands an overhand right.
It looks like Ghoul Ghotha has been cut.

and Heggs counters with a crisp one two that drops Ghotha! Heggs thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ghotha to his feet! Ghotha is in big trouble!
Heggs closes the distance and clinches.
Heggs slowing the pace effectively.
Heggs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Good exchange - Heggs coming out on top.

Heggs wants to clinch up but Ghotha keeps it at a distance.
A slapping body kick lands there for Heggs.
Ghotha is trying desperately to land a takedown but Heggs is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ghotha.
Heggs lands a leg kick that knocks Ghotha off balance momentarily.
Heggs instigates a clinch.
Heggs stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Heggs lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Heggs manages to break the clinch.
Ghotha dodges the punch combination from Heggs.
Ghotha waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Heggs.
Heggs tries to clinch but Ghotha is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ghotha shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Heggs as he avoids it easily.

Heggs lands with a straight right. Ghotha didn't see that one coming.
Luther Heggs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Heggs turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Whack! Heggs lands a heavy head kick that drops Ghotha. The ref tackles Heggs to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ghotha was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Luther Heggs!
Luther Heggs seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
