Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Valygar Corthala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: AC DC - Big Gun. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corthala looks to land a right hand but Gunn moved out of range.
Corthala throws a hook but Gunn blocks it.
The fighters circling - Corthala throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gunn throws out a loose jab but Corthala uses good head movement to avoid it.
Corthala keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Corthala lands with a nice body punch.

Corthala feints and as Gunn raises his hands in defense, Corthala changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Corthala accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gunn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Corthala defends it easily.
Corthala wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving.

Gunn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Corthala can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gunn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Corthala!

Corthala is taking damage to the body and head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gunn has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Corthala has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

You can see the frustration on Corthala's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Gunn working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Corthala is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Gunn has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Corthala taps out!

Glenn Gunn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
