Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jose Canseco !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Farooq Al Rhaz!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Al Rhaz rushes Canseco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Al Rhaz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Canseco pulls his leg out and moves away.

Al Rhaz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Canseco throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Canseco is looking to escape.
Canseco tries to get to full guard but Al Rhaz has control of the leg.

Al Rhaz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Canseco wants to get back to his feet.

Al Rhaz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Canseco is just riding it out for now. Al Rhaz eventually gives up the hold.

Al Rhaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Al Rhaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Canseco tries to strike from the bottom.

Canseco working for a triangle but Al Rhaz defends it easily.
Canseco wants to stand but Al Rhaz is controlling the position.

Canseco is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Al Rhaz drops back looking for a leg! Canseco is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Canseco manages to kick Al Rhaz off! Al Rhaz jumps back into Canseco 's guard.

Canseco has his foot on Al Rhaz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Al Rhaz works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Al Rhaz works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Al Rhaz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Canseco 's guard.

Al Rhaz uses his free foot to push down on Canseco 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Canseco .

Al Rhaz is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Canseco has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Canseco throwing hammer fists to the chest of Al Rhaz. What's that going to do exactly?

Al Rhaz is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Canseco is forced to tap! Great finish!
