Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isamu Minowa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riessig Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minowa comes to the cage accompanied by One Minute in Heaven. Slade has chosen Conan The Destroyer as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Slade postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Minowa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Slade, into his guard.

Minowa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Slade has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Minowa has managed to get both his arms back between Slade's legs - danger averted.

Slade escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Minowa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Minowa controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Minowa distracts Slade with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Slade manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Minowa manages to get himself to full guard.

Slade is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Minowa is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Minowa has escaped and now he's on top!

That was a close round but I would say that Isamu Minowa will probably get the nod.
