Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vince Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Irio Arts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arts shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Arts uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Magalhaes.
Arts fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That kick from Arts tenderised Magalhaes's leg. Magalhaes is trying to keep his angry face on.

Magalhaes gets a double leg takedown into Arts's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Magalhaes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Arts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Magalhaes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Magalhaes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Arts takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arts has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Magalhaes is working away from the top position though.

We're going to have a standup here because Vince Magalhaes wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Arts avoids the body shot from Magalhaes.

Irio Arts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arts will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Arts feints and then cracks Magalhaes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Magalhaes down.
Magalhaes is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vince Magalhaes will probably get the nod.
