The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mctwist lands a head shot.

Rigogo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mctwist.
Oliver Mctwist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mctwist throws a right and a left that both miss.

Mctwist changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rigogo tries to avoid it but Mctwist manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rigogo to the ground. Rigogo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It looks like Vazren Rigogo has been cut.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mctwist connects with a nice short shot to Rigogo's temple.
Rigogo is looking for a sweep. Mctwist is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mctwist seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Rigogo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mctwist pulls his head out easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mctwist is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Rigogo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
